My professional and caring client are looking to recruit for a part-time Accounts/Finance role, offering 20 hours per week with a salary of £28,000 - £30,000 pro rata depending on experience. The position is flexible with days.
You MUST BE AAT level 3 or above with 2 years plus work experience or qualified by experience. This is a great opportunity for the right person in a varied and interesting role where your experience and empathetic personality can really make a difference.
Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain the financial systems, including the preparation of annual budgets and accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with required standards
- Collate monthly wages information and process payments (PAYE)
- Administer the pension scheme
- Invoicing
- Credit control
- General Administration duties
- AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- At least two years relevant experience of finance administration, proven budget setting and payroll experience
- Working knowledge of accounting systems and finance software
- Strong numerical skills and a high level of accuracy
- The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Excellent problem solving ability alongside strong organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and deal effectively with a busy workload
- Strong MS Office Skills in Excel, Word
