A world leading manufacturing business based in Norwich that is recognised for its dedication to providing quality products to the engineering and manufacturing sectors, has a fantastic opportunity for a Despatch Operator to join them at a very exciting time. This business is continuously developing its products and is hugely respected across the world.
Responsibilities:
- To assist in the receipt and distribution of materials delivered from suppliers.
- To kit and deliver parts to the production cells as required for the proper manufacturing of product.
- To trigger Kanban cards per the material replenishment process, enabling buyers to ensure parts arrive from suppliers.
- Take part in the cycle counting process, including producing count sheets, counting product, reconciling results.
- As required, partake in the creation, review and implementation of new procedures/work instructions, including suggesting improvements to currently issued procedures.
