CMM Technician in Lichfield

CMM Technician Lichfield Up to £40,000 based on experience About the Role: We are seeking an experienced CMM Technician to support the inspection of high-precision aerospace components. You will be responsible for creating and running CMM programs to ensure parts meet strict dimensional and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Program, validate, and operate CMM equipment using industry-standard metrology software. * Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections to AS9100 and customer requirements. * Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T. * Produce accurate dimensional reports and maintain CMM calibration. * Support NPI inspection processes and assist with FAIRs. Skills & Experience: * Proven CMM programming experience within aerospace or precision engineering. * Strong understanding of GD&T and complex engineering drawings. * Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality standards. * Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Desirable: * Experience with additional metrology tools and SPC/MSA. * Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
