About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CMM Technician to support the inspection of high-precision aerospace components. You will be responsible for creating and running CMM programs to ensure parts meet strict dimensional and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, validate, and operate CMM equipment using industry-standard metrology software.
- Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections to AS9100 and customer requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T.
- Produce accurate dimensional reports and maintain CMM calibration.
- Support NPI inspection processes and assist with FAIRs.
Skills & Experience
- Proven CMM programming experience within aerospace or precision engineering.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and complex engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- Experience with additional metrology tools and SPC/MSA.
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
