My wonderful client is looking for a Business Development Consultant. Office based Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm. Salary will depend on experience £27k to £30K basic salary (plus profit share). My client is a well-established, friendly and busy company, looking for a new team member with a good work ethic and who already has proven sales ability; confident to pick up the telephone and have a conversation with a new potential client or chase up a quote to get over the line.
Duties will include:
- Contacting new and existing customers to inform them about new and existing products and services.
- Responding to incoming sales enquiries and orders.
- Generation of qualified leads for field sales staff.
- Informing customers about product promotions.
- Collate and report on marketing intelligence as required.
- Ensuring Sales Targets are reached.
- Be assertive with a positive attitude.
- Be enthusiastic and conscientious.
- Have a proactive approach to work.
