HGV Technician Droitwich £43,500 - £46,500 per annum Service Service is recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle business in Droitwich. This is a hands-on workshop role involving the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles. You’ll work as part of an experienced team, maintaining vehicles to a high standard and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities * Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles * Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults * Complete job cards, service sheets and vehicle records accurately * Work with the parts department to source required components * Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop * Follow Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices * Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and attend relevant training About You * Previous experience working as an HGV or Commercial Vehicle Technician * Technical qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ, or equivalent practical experience * Commercial vehicle workshop experience * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality * HGV or PSV licence would be advantageous but is not essential * Good customer service and communication skills What's on Offer * £43,500 - £46,500 per annum * 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm * Saturdays when required * Overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate * Company pension * Health and wellbeing programme This is a great opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a stable, long-term position with excellent overtime potential.
