My client is a successful Independent Financial Advice Practice with offices throughout East Anglia with over a billion funds under management. My clients are a sizeable group with over seventy employees but remain a small and personable collective of likeminded professionals who really care about the clients they service.
I am currently looking to recruit an experienced IFA Administrator to join their well-established Colchester Office.
Purpose of the role
To undertake client related administration, review work, reporting and implementation, in order to assist Independent Financial Advisers in the provision of independent financial services to clients. To undertake the required number of chargeable hours for the department. To complete tasks in an efficient and timely fashion.
Knowledge and experience
It is desired that Administrators have, or aim to achieve, the Certificate in Financial Services. This demonstrates the basic levels of technical knowledge which is required in order to undertake the job. A good understanding of Microsoft Office, and other industry technical software packages, e.g. Curo. Good organisational and planning skills and to be able to keep a time record of work undertaken on behalf of clients. Understand the advice process and the need for a commercial relationship with clients. Strong communication skills and excellent analytical skills. Good team player with a flexible approach.
Key responsibilities
- Maintenance of client and portfolio records.
- Preparation of client files for annual or half yearly reviews.
- Process client new business and general client administration as required.
- Communicate with clients on case progress.
- Preparing necessary paperwork and application forms for client meetings.
- Managing WIP and invoicing.
- Communicate with product providers on case progress compliance issue and record keeping.
Salary
Up to 35,000.00, this is dependent on experience and qualifications.
