Mechanical Design Engineer Norwich, Norfolk £54,000 to £58,000 per annum Service Service is recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of a well-established engineering business in Norwich. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering mechanical design solutions across a range of technically challenging projects. Key Responsibilities Produce mechanical designs, assembly drawings, and detailed engineering documentation Develop solutions involving mechanical structures, rotating drives, and control systems Modify and maintain existing designs, datasheets, and technical documentation Identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure projects are delivered on time Collaborate with production, project management, and supply chain teams Attend design reviews and produce technical reports About You HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Proven experience in a mechanical design engineering role Strong experience producing complex engineering drawings and 3D models Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Knowledge of working to industry standards and regulations Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams and with stakeholders What's on Offer Salary up to £58,000 per annum 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Opportunity to work on varied and technically interesting projects Supportive team environment with scope for development This is a great opportunity to join a growing engineering business where you can play a key role in delivering design solutions while continuing to develop your career.
