We are working with a manufacturing business in Worcester who are seeking an experienced Fabricator / Fitter to join its production team. This is a hands-on role involving fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly, with additional responsibility for supporting team output and maintaining high quality standards.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble mechanical parts and products
- Undertake TIG and MIG welding to a high standard
- Perform mechanical fitting using standard tools and machinery
- Support and guide junior team members where required
- Conduct basic quality checks and testing of completed work
- Work with the Production Team Leader to allocate work across the team
- Monitor and manage consumable stock levels
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication and mechanical fitting
- Strong TIG and MIG welding skills
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
