Our client, a precision engineering company based in Lichfield, is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their growing manufacturing team. This role focuses on producing high-precision components within a modern machining environment, working on technically challenging parts and small batch production.
- Set and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components
- Work to tight tolerances while maintaining high quality standards
- Select appropriate tooling and machining strategies
- Carry out first-off and in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining issues
- Proven experience in CNC turning
- Experience with CNC controls such as FANUC, Siemens, or Mazatrol desirable
