What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ensuring the on-time delivery of key components and supplier documentation to meet project milestones.
- Building and managing effective supplier relationships, including regular reviews and audits.
- Sourcing items to customer specifications, negotiating costs, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Leading and developing a small procurement team, promoting continuous improvement and best practice.
- Managing and maintaining accurate stock levels, procurement documentation, and IT systems.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and operations to deliver seamless contract delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally working with high-spec/certified components.
- Strong commercial acumen and confidence in dealing with suppliers and customers alike.
- A solid understanding of MRP systems and procurement processes.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to review and approve technical documentation such as material certifications.
