Service Service is recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join an established manufacturing business in King's Lynn.
This is a hands-on workshop role involving TIG welding and general fabrication of stainless steel components for specialist equipment. You'll be responsible for preparing materials, working from engineering drawings and producing high-quality work to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG weld stainless steel to a high standard
- Carry out general fabrication and metal preparation
- Set up and operate fabrication machinery, including guillotines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Prepare materials and components for assembly
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures
- Work to deadlines with minimal supervision
About You
- Proven TIG welding and fabrication experience
- Experience working with stainless steel
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Flexible approach to overtime, weekends and occasional travel
- Clean UK driving licence
- FLT licence would be advantageous
What's on Offer
- Up to £18.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Overtime available
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service up to 25 days
