About the role

We are looking for a Client Manager to join our Deliveroo Media Partnership. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and retention of FMCG brand investment across Deliveroo's advertising ecosystem.

What you'll do:

  • Support the growth of FMCG brand investment by managing day-to-day client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand campaigns.
  • Build strong relationships with key client contacts and agency partners, establishing yourself as a trusted and reliable point of contact.
  • Outreach to new FMCG partners we aren't currently working with to secure meetings.
  • Work closely with Client Managers and Directors to develop and deliver compelling campaign proposals, pitch materials, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Coordinate campaigns across Deliveroo Media channels.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Planning, Insights, Creative, Operations, Deliveroo stakeholders) to ensure seamless commercial delivery and strong campaign proposals.
  • Use data and insights to support campaign optimisation and demonstrate performance against client objectives.
  • Prepare clear and engaging client communications, including meeting follow-ups, reports, and recommendations.
  • Contribute to brainstorms and idea generation to create innovative, effective media solutions for clients.

You will have an aptitude for spotting new opportunities, both how we present the Deliveroo Media proposition to brands to unlock investment, but equally on what new products/media channels/measurement tools are needed to help continue improving the quality of Deliveroo as a media owner. You will be managing at least one direct report, setting a clear role and responsibility for them to aid their development and progression; helping deliver against commercial targets and building FMCG relationships themselves.

What we’re looking for:

  • Commercial Acumen & Revenue Growth: Demonstrates experience in generating and growing media revenue from FMCG advertisers, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to Deliveroo Media's overall revenue targets.
  • Strategic Client Development: Builds and nurtures relationships across either FMCG marketing, shopper, and media teams, developing multi-stakeholder engagement plans and Joint Business Plans that deepen client commitment and unlock long-term value.
  • Media Sales Expertise: Brings a consultative sales approach, capable of translating brand objectives into effective media solutions across Deliveroo's suite of advertising products - from in-app placements and CRM activations to off-platform and data-led offerings.
  • Performance & Results Orientation: Driven by measurable outcomes, consistently meeting or exceeding campaign and revenue KPIs through strong pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and a focus on delivering tangible ROI for FMCG advertisers.
  • Campaign Effectiveness & Optimisation: Understands how to use data and insights to evaluate campaign performance, identify optimisation opportunities, and ensure campaigns meet or exceed industry benchmarks for engagement and conversion.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership: Works effectively with internal teams across Commercial, Insights, Operations, and Data to deliver integrated media solutions that align with brand goals and Deliveroo's commercial strategy.
  • Strategic Thinking & Innovation: Contributes to the evolution of Deliveroo Media's go-to-market strategy by identifying new revenue opportunities, product propositions, and category initiatives that drive growth within the FMCG vertical.
  • Market Awareness & Industry Insight: Keeps abreast of the evolving FMCG and retail media landscape, bringing informed perspectives on category trends, competitive activity, and advertiser expectations to influence strategic decisions.

We're looking for people who enjoy the buzz of change, the satisfaction of building something better, and the joy of working with a close-knit, values-driven team. If you love variety, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and embrace change with energy, this could be your right role.

Don't meet every single requirement? We still want to hear from you. If you believe you'd thrive in this role, your unique perspective might be just what we're looking for.
