Our client, one of the world’s largest credit card providers, partners with Service Innovation Group to fulfil a key field marketing function within their wider merchant engagement program. The client activity is primarily focused on increasing their engagement points across a wide range of businesses across the UK through field visits with a focus on education, acceptance and visibility.
As our Area Manager you will lead and develop a team of Brand Ambassadors across multiple retailer environments with a focus on ensuring we meet our Clients objectives and ensure we make every visit count. You will take ownership of individual performance and work toward development plans in agreement with Client Service Manager and company goals. The Role
- Responsible for managing a team of up to 10 Brand Ambassadors to ensure growth and development.
- Build positive relationships with individuals to enhance skills and drive performance within the team.
- Take ownership of Team KPI’s, implementing strategies to ensure consistent achievement.
- Analyse and identify performance gaps and support individuals/team using effective training, coaching and performance management techniques to address.
- Drive the adoption of best practices, leveraging your experience to cultivate a high-performance culture.
- Provide training and induction for new starters to ensure fully knowledgeable and capable in performing within the role with a view to long term commitment and development within SIG.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skill in all elements of Brand Ambassador role to lead by example in standards and deliverables required.
- Maintain accurate stock records of equipment and assets held by all individuals and use set methods to order and replenish as required.
- Deliver and exceed targets set by both Client and SIG both personally and through your team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and exceptional client satisfaction.
What are we looking for
- Previous Field Management Experience would be beneficial.
- Proven track record of coaching and developing sales teams.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate concepts to audiences.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve KPI’s.
- An ability to manage multiple objectives across different projects at the same time.
- Strong communication and outstanding organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise work effectively to meet different business requirements.
- Smart professional approach and appearance.
- Proficiency with technology and software: Ideally Apple based hardware and software applications: Microsoft Office productivity software.
- Valid and Full UK Driving license.
