About the Role: Commercial Property Solicitor
The successful Commercial Property Solicitor will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of commercial property matters with a touch of agricultural experience. You will be working on:
- Landlord and tenant agreements
- Commercial leases
- Property acquisitions and disposals
- Lease renewals and rent review negotiations
- Supporting the team with general commercial property transactions
This role involves working closely with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality legal advice. The position is based with the firm's Stafford office, with flexible hybrid working arrangements—initially one day from home, then increasing to two days once fully onboarded. The firm values local candidates and encourages applications from those within the area.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied Commercial Property caseload efficiently and accurately
- Draft, review, and negotiate leases, licenses, and other property agreements
- Handle landlord and tenant issues, including lease renewals and rent reviews
- Provide clear legal advice to clients and colleagues
- Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation and firm policies
- Maintain excellent client relationships and support business development
Candidate Requirements:
- Commercial property experience, including some agricultural work
- Knowledge of landlord and tenant law and commercial leases
- Open to NQ and above, or candidates with more than 5 years PQE
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Local candidates preferred
