Job Title: Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist Location: Hillingdon, Uxbridge & Isleworth, London Salary: Up to Β£58,000 per annum (DOE) Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Contract: Permanent, with 52-week, summer contract and part-time options available. The summer contract offers five weeks off during the summer break plus 22 days' annual leave.

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and motivated Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join an expanding multidisciplinary team, working primarily within mainstream school settings across the Hillingdon, Uxbridge and Isleworth area. The role will involve supporting the development and delivery of an inclusive, graduated approach to speech and language therapy provision within schools. You will play an important role in supporting inclusive education by implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions across mainstream school settings. Through high-quality training, consultation and clinical support, you will empower school staff to confidently identify and respond to pupils' communication and interaction needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering staff training and consultation.
- Supporting schools with speech, language, communication and interaction needs.
- Advising on communication-supportive environments and inclusive classroom strategies.
- Supervising Speech and Language Therapists and Therapy Assistants.
- Supporting EHCP and ISP processes and annual reviews where required.
- Contributing to multidisciplinary intervention planning.
Essential Criteria
- BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience working at a specialist level with children and young people in a similar setting.
- Extensive experience providing professional and clinical supervision.
- Extensive experience developing and delivering training.
Desirable Experience
- Experience implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions.
- Experience working with complex communication needs and behaviours.
- Experience completing assessments and contributing to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Experience working with children and young people with autism, ADHD or other neurodevelopmental needs.
