About the Job:
In this Social Worker Fostering & Adoption role, you will be vital in supporting children and families through assessment, supervision, and placement processes. The successful candidate will work closely with foster carers, families, and partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in care. Your expertise will help to safeguard vulnerable children while ensuring foster carers and adoptive families receive the support they need.
Candidate Responsibilities - Social Worker Fostering & Adoption
- Supporting, supervising, and assessing foster carers
- Completing fostering assessments and annual reviews
- Participating in matching and placement planning for children
- Collaborating with children, families, foster carers, and partner agencies
- Ensuring safeguarding standards are met and maintained
- Preparing reports for fostering panels and professional meetings
Candidate Requirements - Social Worker Fostering & Adoption
- Qualified Social Worker status (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent)
- Registration with Social Work England
- Proven experience within fostering and/or adoption services
- Strong assessment, report writing, and safeguarding skills
- Full UK driving license (preferred)
