Service Care Solutions are currently working with a well-established and highly regarded independent law firm in Cheshire who are looking to appoint a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join their growing Private Client Department . The firm has been established for almost 30 years and has built an excellent reputation for providing high-quality legal advice and outstanding client service. Their Private Client team advises clients across a broad range of matters, including Wills, Trusts & Probate, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work. Location: Cheshire Salary: £55,000 – £75,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience Job Type: Permanent
Responsibilities as a Senior Private Client Solicitor:
- Managing a varied caseload covering Wills, Probate and Powers of Attorney .
- Handling Court of Protection and Deputyship matters , where appropriate.
- Advising clients on a range of Private Client and elderly client matters.
- Managing files efficiently and ensuring compliance with SRA, Law Society and Lexcel requirements .
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the Private Client team.
- Supporting the continued development and growth of the department.
- Maintaining relevant departmental accreditations and professional standards.
About you as a Senior Private Client Solicitor:
- A minimum of 5 years' PQE , ideally within Private Client.
- Strong experience across Wills, Probate and Powers of Attorney .
- Experience with Court of Protection and Deputyship work would be advantageous.
- The ability to independently manage a varied Private Client caseload.
- A hands-on, flexible and proactive attitude.
- STEP qualification or progress towards STEP would be highly desirable.
