Electrician - Ryde, Isle of Wight
Are you an experienced Electrician looking for a permanent opportunity with an established property maintenance and facilities management operation? We are recruiting an Electrician to deliver safe, compliant and high-quality electrical services across a varied property portfolio in Ryde, Isle of Wight.

Electrician Responsibilities
- Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), emergency lighting tests and fire alarm testing.
- Completing electrical installations, fault finding, repairs and remedial works.
- Diagnosing faults thoroughly and identifying required materials or additional trade support.
- Preparing quotations for electrical testing remedial works.
- Completing electrical certification accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring all work complies with current IET Wiring Regulations and relevant British Standards.
- Following health and safety procedures, including risk assessments, method statements and correct use of PPE.
- Maintaining accurate job records and electrical certification using relevant IT systems.
Electrician Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent qualification.
- At least five years' experience in electrical maintenance or a building maintenance environment.
- The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- City & Guilds 2391, or an equivalent electrical inspection and testing qualification.
- Strong fault-finding, repair and general electrical maintenance skills.
- A professional approach to compliance, safety and customer service.
