Location: Redditch Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour via Umbrella Hours: Flexible - ongoing shifts available Start: ASAP Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join a Primary Care Centre in Redditch on an ongoing locum basis. This is a flexible opportunity, with a range of shifts available throughout the week. While total hours are flexible, applicants must be able to commit to the same pattern of shifts each week to provide consistency within the service.

- Monday: 15:30 - 22:00
- Tuesday: 15:30 - 22:00
- Wednesday: 15:30 - 22:00
- Thursday: 15:30 - 22:00
- Friday: 15:30 - 22:00
- Saturday: 09:30 - 16:00
- Saturday: 15:30 - 22:00
- Sunday: 09:30 - 16:00
- Sunday: 15:30 - 22:00
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant within a Primary Care setting , such as: GP Practice Urgent Care Community Services You must also have recent experience using EMIS.
Essential Clinical Skills
- Venepuncture / Phlebotomy
- ECG recording
- Basic wound care
- Taking and recording a full set of clinical observations
- Understanding of NEWS2 and recognising patient deterioration
- Identifying when escalation to a clinician is required
- Working safely within your scope of practice and escalating concerns appropriately
