Property Services Manager - Gateshead £29.18 PAYE / £39.58 Umbrella Location: Local Authority Contract: Temporary / Interim Hours: Full-time Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Property Services Manager to join an anonymous Local Authority on an interim basis. This is a senior professional property role and would suit someone with a strong background in property management, valuation, acquisitions/disposals and strategic asset management , rather than a general Facilities Manager. The successful candidate will provide professional property advice to the Council, lead a team of professional and technical staff and contribute to the strategic management of the Council's property portfolio. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of property management, valuation and real estate services. Provide professional advice on property acquisitions, disposals and valuations. Contribute to the strategic management of the Council's property assets. Manage and develop the Council's non-operational property portfolio. Lead, manage and develop professional and technical property staff. Support the development and implementation of asset management strategies and policies. Manage property-related projects from inception through to completion. Manage dedicated budgets, ensuring value for money and effective use of resources. Prepare reports and provide professional property advice to senior officers and stakeholders. Represent the service at internal and external meetings where required.
