Role: Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Preston, Lancashire – PR2
An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a children's residential service in Preston.
You'll play a key role in supporting children and young people while also providing leadership and guidance to the wider residential team.
The role includes:
- Providing high-quality day-to-day care and support.
- Building positive and trusting relationships with children.
- Supporting children's individual care plans and outcomes.
- Promoting education, independence and positive development.
- Supporting safeguarding procedures.
- Acting as a senior member of the team.
- Providing guidance and support to other residential workers.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Working alongside social workers and other professionals.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working within children's residential care.
- Is passionate about supporting young people.
- Can act as a positive role model.
- Has strong communication skills.
- Is confident taking responsibility within a residential environment.
