Job Title: Housekeeper - Grantham
Position Overview: As a Housekeeper in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality housekeeping services within residential accommodation. Your main duties will include general cleaning, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring the property remains in excellent condition for residents. This contract is initially for 2 weeks, offering 16 hours per week, with flexible working patterns tailored to support work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general housekeeping and cleaning duties to a high standard
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation throughout the accommodation
- Complete scheduled and ad-hoc cleaning tasks, including deep cleaning and carpet care
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning products in accordance with health and safety protocols
- Store cleaning materials correctly and dispose of waste safely
- Respond professionally to occupant enquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Uphold hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good communication skills in spoken and written English
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Customer-focused with a positive outlook
- Desirable: experience within residential, healthcare or supported accommodation settings, a full UK driving license, and willingness to work across multiple sites
