Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical inspection and testing, reactive repairs, fault finding and full rewiring.
- Undertake electrical installations in kitchens, bathrooms and commercial heating systems.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with current IET Wiring Regulations and relevant British Standards.
- Complete and validate electrical certification through the appropriate NICEIC certification system.
- Ensure safe isolation procedures are followed and testing equipment complies with GS38 guidance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and other trades.
- Respond promptly to emergency repairs and resolve faults efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, customer service and health and safety.
- Maintain accurate job records, including photographic evidence where required.
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota and support other contracts when required.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent in Inspection and Testing.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- AM2 qualification.
- Full, current UK driving licence.
- Over three years' electrical trade experience within building maintenance.
- Ideally two years' supervisory experience.
