Gas Engineer Location: North Somerset Salary: £41,442 per annum Contract: Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Engineer to join a well-established housing provider covering properties across North Somerset. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality gas works within residential properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with current gas safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out gas servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding within domestic properties.
- Diagnose and resolve faults on domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
- Ensure all works comply with current gas safety regulations and health & safety legislation.
- Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents.
- Work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Essential Requirements
- Current domestic gas qualifications, including CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1, WAT1 and CEN.
- Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications.
- Proven understanding of gas safety and health & safety legislation.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Confident using digital systems and technology.
Desirable
- Previous experience working within social housing or housing associations.
