Position Details:
The Band 6 CAMEO Opportunities - RMN / Care Coordinator positions are part-time contracts, with the CAMEO South Team based in Cambridge and the North Team in our client. These roles involve community-based working, supporting assessments, and managing a small caseload of service users. The roles are for varying hours up to 30 hours per week, with shifts typically scheduled Monday to Friday during daytime hours.
Candidate Responsibilities – Band 6 CAMEO Opportunities - RMN / Care Coordinator:
- Taking a lead role in Duty Triaging referrals and completing telephone assessments
- Conducting assessments using the CAARMS assessment tool for suspected psychosis cases
- Supporting individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis within Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) services
- Managing a small caseload, supporting recovery, and delivering therapeutic interventions
- Monitoring physical and mental health and completing risk assessments
- Liaising closely with multidisciplinary teams and other external services
- Completing onward referrals where necessary and providing colleague support and advice
What We Are Looking For:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Occupational Therapist (OT), Social Worker (SW), or Care Coordinator with EIP/psychosis experience
- Knowledge of the Early Intervention in Psychosis ethos
- Experience working with people experiencing psychosis
- DBS clearance is required
