Service Care Solutions is working with a growing local authority, based in Oxfordshire, which is seeking an experienced Contracts Lawyer to join their legal team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy and collaborative legal team on a varied caseload of commercial and public sector contracts. Role: Contracts Lawyer Contract Length: 3 months ongoing Umbrella Rate: £50 - £60ph PAYE Inc. Rate: £43.82 - £52.51ph Location: Oxfordshire – hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle your own Commercial Contracts and Procurement law caseload from start to completion.
- Supporting departments on grant funding and subsidy control.
- Assisting with governance and contract management issues where required.
Key Requirements:
- 5 or more years of PQE in Commercial Contracts and Procurement law as a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX in England and Wales.
- Detailed knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023 is essential.
- Previous local government experience is highly desirable.
