Multi Trade Operative (Voids) – Norwich & Surrounding Areas
Are you an experienced Multi Trade Operative looking for an exciting new contract opportunity? Our client, a well-established social housing maintenance team, is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative (Voids) to join their team for a two-week contract based in Norwich and the surrounding areas. If you have a strong background in general repairs, refurbishment, and multi-trade skills, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities of the Multi Trade Operative (Voids):
- Carrying out general repairs and maintenance within void properties
- Completing multi-trade works, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, and decorating
- Undertaking kitchen and bathroom repairs, replacing fixtures and fittings
- Repairing damaged walls, ceilings, doors, skirting boards, and other internal surfaces
- Performing patch plastering, making‑good, and refurbishment works
- Preparing properties to meet the required lettable standards
- Identifying maintenance issues and completing repairs efficiently
- Working independently to manage daily workloads within agreed timescales
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment
Candidate Requirements for the Multi Trade Operative (Voids):
- Previous experience working as a Multi Trade Operative within domestic properties
- Strong practical skills across multiple trades, notably carpentry, plumbing and decorating
- Experience in void property repairs and refurbishment is desirable
- Social housing maintenance experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently
- Full UK driving licence is preferred
- Good knowledge of health and safety procedures
- High standards of repair and refurbishment work

Pay rate: £21.98 per hour LTD
