About the Role: CSW Senior Social Worker Disabilities & 0-25
As a CSW Senior Social Worker Disabilities & 0-25 , you will manage complex cases involving disabled children and young people, ensuring statutory compliance and delivering high-quality assessments. The role involves working closely with families, health, education, and voluntary agencies to facilitate integrated, outcome-focused plans. Your expertise will support transitions into adulthood and promote independence, with direct involvement in safeguarding, Child in Need, Child Protection, court proceedings, and Preparation for Adulthood planning.
Candidate Responsibilities: CSW Senior Social Worker Disabilities & 0-25
- Manage a varied and complex caseload for disabled children and young people.
- Conduct timely, thorough assessments, planning, and reviews.
- Undertake statutory activities such as Child in Need, Child Protection, and court work.
- Work directly with children and young people, ensuring their voices are central to planning.
- Collaborate effectively with families, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and review intervention plans that promote positive outcomes.
- Respond promptly to safeguarding concerns.
- Contribute to service development and reflect on practice for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory timescales.
- Promote inclusive, anti-discriminatory, and strength-based practice.
