Service Care Legal are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority in the South East on a temporary basis.
ROLE:
Locum Litigation Lawyer – Local Authority
LOCATION:
South East England / Fully Remote (occasional office/court attendance preferred)
RATE:
£55ph umbrella / £48.17ph PAYE inc. holidya pay / £42.99ph PAYE exc. holiday pay
CONTRACT:
3 months with possibility of extension, 28-36 hours per week
The role involves managing a varied and complex caseload of:
- Non-insurance litigation
- Debt recovery (particularly adult social care fees)
- Property and commercial disputes
Key requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer.
- Proven experience managing a varied and complex litigation caseload.
- Previous public sector/local authority experience preferred.
- Strong drafting, advisory and client care skills, including drafting briefs to Counsel.
