A Central London local authority is seeking an experienced Legal Support Assistant to join its busy legal services team. The role will provide administrative and transactional support across document management, case administration, financial processes and general legal support.ROLE: Legal Support Assistant – Central LondonLOCATION: Central LondonCONTRACT: 3 months with possibility of extension, 36 hours per weekRATE: £26.83ph Umbrella / £23.68ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / £21.13ph PAYE exc. holiday payPlease note that this role would require office attendance 2 days per week in the office.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, paginate and redact documents for hearings, contracts and meetings.Prepare documents for signing/sealing and maintain accurate registers and records.Raise purchase orders, process invoices and assist with billing and recharging.Maintain legal case management systems and support file archiving and retrieval.Produce reports and management information.About YouPrevious work experience in an legal administration role would be essentialExperience of local authority working experience would be highly desirableExperience handling confidential information and maintaining accurate records.Knowledge of purchase-to-pay processes and invoice administration.We also welcome referrals, which could be worth £200 each.
