About the Role – Locum Litigation Lawyer
As a Locum Litigation Lawyer , you will be responsible for managing a broad and complex caseload, primarily focusing on non-insurance litigation, debt recovery—particularly adult social care fees—and property and commercial disputes. This position is fully remote, with occasional attendance at the office or courts preferred.
Key Responsibilities – Locum Litigation Lawyer
Managing a varied and complex litigation caseload, including:
- Non-insurance litigation
- Debt recovery, especially social care payments
- Property and commercial disputes
- Drafting legal documents, briefs to Counsel, and advisory letters
- Providing expert legal advice to clientsEnsuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures
- Managing client relations with professionalism and efficiency
- Supporting the team in case preparation and resolution
Candidate Requirements –Locum Litigation Lawyer
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
- Proven experience in managing a diverse and complex litigation caseload
- Previous experience working within a public sector or local authority setting is preferred
- Excellent drafting, advisory, and client care skills
- Ability to work independently and handle caseload efficiently
- Flexibility to work 28–36 hours per week during the contract period
