Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a housing association who are seeking an experienced Housing Litigation Solicitor to join its legal team on a temporary basis, advising on housing management and landlord and tenant disputes.

Contract
3 months with possibility of extension
Office attendance
4 days per week in the office for 4 weeks, then 3 days until week 12, then 2 days
Key responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload covering ASB injunctions, possession proceedings, tenancy fraud, housing disrepair and debt recovery.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, injunction applications and court documentation.
- Undertake advocacy where appropriate (excluding trials).
- Instruct external solicitors and counsel, provide legal updates and support junior colleagues.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with strong housing law and litigation experience.
- Excellent legal drafting, communication and case management skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive matters and build effective stakeholder relationships.
