Housing Maintenance Officer Location: Horsham, West Sussex Pay Rate: £21.85 per hour LTD/Umbrella Contract: Temporary, 6–8 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate responsive repairs and general property maintenance.
- Liaise with contractors and monitor repairs through to completion.
- Arrange property inspections and oversee maintenance works.
- Ensure void properties meet the required standards before being re-let.
- Monitor contractor performance, costs and invoices.
- Manage damp and mould cases in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Communicate with tenants, contractors and internal departments.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housing maintenance, repairs coordination or property management.
- Experience managing contractors and organising residential repairs.
- Good understanding of social housing maintenance and property compliance.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
