Remote Property Estate Manager Teesside / Stockton-on-Tees / North Yorkshire £35,877 per annum including Car Allowance 37 hours per week | Full Time Remote Working | Permanent Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Property Estate Manager to join a busy estate management team, covering a portfolio of residential developments across Teesside, Stockton-on-Tees and North Yorkshire . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in estate management, property management, housing, facilities management or a similar environment , who is confident managing budgets, contractors, communal areas and customer relationships. The role will involve overseeing the effective management and maintenance of shared external and communal areas, while working closely with residents, homeowners, clients, contractors and other stakeholders.

The Role

As an Estate Manager, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of developments, ensuring estates are well maintained, budgets are effectively managed and customers receive a high-quality, responsive service. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of residential developments and associated communal and external areas.
  • Preparing and managing estate budgets in line with site requirements and agreed timescales.
  • Monitoring expenditure and ensuring spending remains within agreed budgets.
  • Reviewing annual expenditure and service charge accounts.
  • Carrying out regular estate inspections and ensuring any issues identified are followed through to resolution.
  • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across communal and external areas.
  • Managing and liaising with maintenance contractors and other service providers.
  • Monitoring Health & Safety Assessments, Risk Assessments, ecological reports and landscaping requirements.
  • Arranging and attending resident meetings and site meetings where required.
  • Building strong working relationships with homeowners, residents, clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Providing a professional and responsive customer service.
  • Maintaining accurate records and using relevant IT systems to manage estate information, expenditure and performance.
  • Identifying risks, taking ownership of issues and ensuring matters are brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Supporting the wider estate management team and contributing to service improvements.

About You

  • Previous experience within estate management, property management, housing, facilities management or a similar environment.
  • Experience of monitoring and managing budgets.
  • Experience working within a performance-focused environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  • Confidence dealing with difficult situations and resolving issues professionally.
  • A positive, practical and solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • GCSE/O-Level equivalent qualifications including Maths and English.
  • A full valid UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Previous experience within estate or property management.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and risk assessment requirements.
  • Experience using MRI software.
  • Knowledge or understanding of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG).
  • Relevant professional or estate management training.
