Job Title: EHC Coordinator PT
As an EHC Coordinator PT, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate Education, Health, and Care (EHC) plans for students with special educational needs. You will work closely with schools, parents, and local authorities to ensure that each child's tailored support package is effectively managed and implemented. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to contribute to meaningful educational outcomes on a flexible, part-time basis.
Candidate Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage EHC plans in line with current policies and procedures
- Liaise effectively with schools, parents, and external agencies to gather necessary information
- Review and assess EHC documentation to support appropriate educational placement
- Attend and facilitate meetings with relevant stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements
- Provide guidance and support to families and educational institutions regarding EHC processes
Candidate Requirements
- Experienced in working with Special Educational Needs
- Knowledge of current EHC framework and legislation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in education support or related roles is desirable
