About the Role
As an EHC Assessment & Review Officer, you will be responsible for managing Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessments and reviews for pupils with special educational needs. Your expertise will ensure timely and accurate evaluations, providing vital support to educational institutions and families. This contract position is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of SEN procedures and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
Candidate Responsibilities
- Conducting EHC assessments and reviews with professionalism and attention to detail
- Liaising with educational professionals, parents, and external agencies
- Ensuring compliance with SEND regulations and policies
- Preparing detailed reports and recommendations for review panels
- Supporting families and schools throughout the assessment process
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience working within Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and assessment procedures
- Ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines
- Optional: Relevant qualifications in SEN or education
