SEN Provision Lead
Connect2Dorset is recruiting an experienced SEN Provision Lead to join our client Council’s SEND Service on a fully remote, temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to support children and young people with special educational needs and ensure they receive the right support at the right time.
Role: SEN Provision Lead
Location: Wareham, with fully remote working
Contract: Temporary, 2 weeks
Pay rate: £300.00–£320.00 per day

Candidate Responsibilities: SEN Provision Lead
- Manage a varied caseload involving children and young people with SEND.
- Coordinate, review and amend EHCPs in line with statutory processes.
- Lead annual reviews and ensure statutory deadlines are met.
- Manage complex and high-risk cases, including disputes and tribunals.
- Chair multi-agency meetings and annual review panels.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Analyse service performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of SEND processes, policies and service delivery.
- Build effective relationships with families, schools and professional stakeholders.
Requirements for the SEN Provision Lead
- Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs.
- Strong knowledge of EHCPs and SEND statutory processes.
- Proven case management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience managing complex cases and working across multi-agency environments.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes remotely.
