Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join the dedicated Court Team at Cheshire East Council. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist court-focused team managing a low caseload of approximately 5-6 care proceedings cases, allowing you to focus on achieving positive outcomes for children and families throughout the court process.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage children subject to care proceedings from start to conclusion.
- Complete court reports, assessments, statements and care plans.
- Attend court hearings and provide professional evidence when required.
- Work closely with legal teams and partner agencies.
- Ensure all work is completed within statutory and court-directed timescales.
- Safeguard children and promote positive long-term outcomes.
Requirements
- Social Work Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience within Children's Social Care.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and care proceedings.
- Excellent assessment, report writing and court work skills.
- This role would suit Social Workers with experience in Court Teams, Child Protection, Safeguarding, CIN or Looked After Children services.
