About the Role: Community Keyworker – Stratford
As a Community Keyworker, you will work closely with women referred into our service, offering 1:1 holistic support to help them break the cycle of offending. The Community Keyworker will collaborate with a team of professionals to provide tailored interventions, particularly focusing on women on probation or returning from prison. This role involves both in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support, ensuring women receive assistance at every stage of their journey.
Key Responsibilities of the Community Keyworker – Stratford
- Provide specialist 1:1 community support to women involved in the Criminal Justice System
- Develop individualized support packages based on each woman’s needs
- Work in partnership with delivery agencies and local community services
- Support women on probation, post-sentence supervision, and those reintegrating from prison
- Build trusting relationships to empower women and encourage positive change
- Record progress and maintain accurate case notes in line with organizational policies
Candidate Requirements for the Community Keyworker – Stratford
- Proven experience as a Probation Service Officer or similar role
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including working 4 days per week on a regular pattern
- Enhanced Level One vetting clearance (MOJ)
