About the Role – Finance Business Partner
The Finance Business Partner will play a vital role in managing the Housing Revenues Account, ensuring accurate financial analysis, reporting, and strategic support. You will work on a hybrid basis, combining remote work with essential attendance at the Coalville office when required. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert financial advice and support to the housing department
- Managing financial planning and forecasting for the Housing Revenue Account (HRA)
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiencies
- Assisting with budget preparation and variance analysis
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
- Collaborating with the finance team and key stakeholders to support financial decision-making
- Contributing to continuous process improvements within the HRA environment
Candidate Responsibilities – Finance Business Partner
The ideal Finance Business Partner will have proven experience working within the HRA environment and demonstrate the following:
- Strong knowledge of Housing Revenues Accounts
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and prepare comprehensive reports
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proven track record of working within a local authority or similar public sector organisation
- Demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team
