Candidate Responsibilities as a New Business Adviser
- Managing and responding to inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns.
- Conducting structured initial discovery meetings to understand client objectives, financial arrangements, and concerns.
- Building rapport and trust with potential clients through high-quality advice and professional relationship management.
- Converting leads into assets under management through effective financial planning and tailored investment advice.
- Maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects and managing each through their advice journey proactively.
- Delivering investment-focused advice covering pensions, ISAs, general investment accounts, retirement planning, tax-efficient investing, and wealth management strategies.
- Ensuring all activities comply with FCA regulations and documenting interactions accurately within CRM systems.
- Collaborating with paraplanning, admin, compliance, and onboarding teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Candidate Requirements for the Role of New Business Adviser
- Level 4 Diploma qualification (DipPFS or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a regulated Financial Adviser or our client Adviser.
- Experience working within a lead generation or inbound enquiry environment.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with proven sales capability within a regulated advice framework.
- Highly organized with effective pipeline management skills.
