Children's Social Worker Bolton – Role Overview
As a Children’s Social Worker Bolton, you will be responsible for managing caseloads across Bolton, working within statutory deadlines to safeguard children and support their welfare. This role is based at Castle Hill with the flexibility of working from home and in-office to suit service needs. The position offers a pay rate of £37-£39 per hour, depending on experience.
Candidate Responsibilities for the Children's Social Worker Bolton
- Manage a caseload across Bolton, including child protection and Child in Need (CIN) cases
- Conduct statutory visits and assessments, including court reports
- Work within statutory deadlines to ensure timely intervention and safeguarding
- Carry out duty and home visits, supporting children and families in their environments
- Complete accurate assessments and reports to inform decision-making
- Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to support child welfare
- Travel to various locations within Bolton, with the ability to travel to office on short notice if required
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to internal policies and procedures
