Location: Buxton, Derbyshire – SK17
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead an established children’s residential service in Buxton. This is an opportunity for an experienced children's residential professional to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of an assessment-focused home , ensuring children receive safe, consistent and high-quality care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the residential team.
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and care.
- Ensuring the home operates in line with relevant legislation, policies and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting staff development, supervision and performance.
- Maintaining strong records and documentation.
- Working closely with professionals, families and other agencies.
- Promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Preparing the home for inspections and maintaining strong standards of practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience managing a children's residential service.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's residential care.
- Experience leading and developing a staff team.
- A commitment to providing high-quality, child-centred care.
- The ability to build positive relationships with professionals and stakeholders.
