This temporary contract offers a chance to showcase your skills while working on essential repairs across council-owned properties and social housing.
Flagger Job Responsibilities
- Carrying out flagging, paving, and repairs to pathways, steps, and external surfaces.
- Undertaking groundwork repairs, minor masonry work, and associated drainage repairs.
- Completing repairs and renewals to council-owned properties and housing stock.
- Working safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, productivity, and customer service.
- Working professionally within occupied properties and residential areas.
- Managing workloads independently while collaborating with a wider maintenance team.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in flagging, paving, and groundwork repairs.
- Background in social housing, domestic maintenance, or similar environments.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Own hand tools and equipment.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently, manage workloads, and meet high standards.
- A professional, customer‑focused approach when working with residents.
