Responsibilities of the Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
- Administering autism assessments, including ADOS evaluations
- Providing expert speech and language therapy to children and adults
- Developing tailored intervention plans based on assessment results
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure client needs are met
- Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation
- Participating in regular training and professional development sessions
What We Expect from the Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
- Over 5 years’ post-graduate experience as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Proven ADOS training and at least 1 year of post-training assessment experienceExperience working with both children and adults in clinical settings
- A strong interest and commitment to autism assessment services
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care
