Joiner (Damp and Mould) Location: Barnsley Rate: £20.56 per hour (Umbrella) inc Holiday | £15.51 per hour PAYE Hours: 37.5 per week
The Role
Service Care Solutions are looking for an experienced Joiner to join a busy team delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment work across housing stock and new build projects. This is a hands-on role covering both first fix and second fix joinery, working in a fast-paced environment where quality and customer service are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of joinery on repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments
- Install doors, windows, frames, skirting, flooring, and kitchens
- Work on structural timber including roof timbers and floor joists
- Fit PVCu windows, doors, and trims
- Complete works safely at height
- Ensure properties are secure when required
- Maintain van stock and complete job paperwork
What We are Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 in Joinery (or equivalent)
- NVQ Level 3 or willingness to achieve
- Proven experience in maintenance and refurbishment joinery
- Ability to work at height
- Full UK driving licence
- Good understanding of health & safety
