Multi Skilled Bricklayer Location: Ashington Salary: £34,622 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday Contract: Permanent, full-time
We’re looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Bricklayer to join our Property Maintenance and Construction Department, working within the Ashington maintenance team.
What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out brickwork repairs, damp remedial works and associated multi-skilled repairs.
- Maintaining domestic and commercial properties to a high standard.
- Delivering a reliable, professional and customer-focused repairs service.
- Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Representing the organisation positively and helping maintain its reputation for quality service.
- Adapting to new ways of working and contributing ideas to improve the customer experience.
What you’ll bring
Essential requirements:
- A City & Guilds Craft Certificate in Bricklaying or an equivalent qualification.
- A full, valid driving licence.
- Sound working knowledge of bricklaying and the wider building construction sector, including materials, building components, other building trades and relevant regulations.
Desirable experience and qualifications:
- An appropriate CSCS card.
- Experience working in domestic and commercial property maintenance.
- Experience working in a target-driven environment.
