Location: Willowbank Lodge, 67 Cavendish Road, Manchester, M20 1JG and Gorton Hub, Greater Manchester
Contract Length: 2 weeks
Salary/Pay Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities of the Adults Social Worker our client
- Conducting thorough assessments of adult clients to determine their care needs
- Developing tailored support plans in collaboration with service users and their families
- Working within the community and integrated teams to provide comprehensive support
- Ensuring compliance with local and national social work policies and procedures
- Working shifts as part of a 7-day rota to support community-based services
- Applying experience with intermediate care to promote independence and wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date case records and documentation
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in adult social work, specifically in intermediate care settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A current valid social work registration
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexible approach to shift work and community engagement
- 3 years of relevant working references, with gaps in employment history carefully checked
- Relevant qualifications as stipulated in JDPS guidelines
