Job Overview – Adults Senior Social Worker
The Adults Senior Social Worker will play a vital role within an integrated multidisciplinary team, providing professional leadership and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality adult social care services. This position requires a highly skilled professional with substantial experience in adult social care, intermediate care, and senior-level social work. The successful candidate will work flexibly across a seven-day rota to meet the needs of the service.
Responsibilities – Adults Senior Social Worker
As an Adults Senior Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert case management for complex adult cases
- Offering professional leadership and guidance to team members
- Contributing to multidisciplinary team working within the integrated service
- Supporting and supervising junior colleagues
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational policies
- Working across Willow Bank Lodge and Gorton Hub to provide site cover
- Working flexibly in line with the service requirements, including weekends and evenings
Candidate Requirements – Adults Senior Social Worker
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Extensive experience in Adult Social Care at a senior level
- Post-qualifying experience in social work
- Registration with Social Work England
- Proven ability to lead complex case management
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites and shifts
