MOBILE ROOFER We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Roofer to join a busy property maintenance team on a permanent basis. This is a mobile role covering Woking, Windsor and Horsham, supporting repairs and maintenance across domestic and commercial properties, including local authority, education, commercial and listed buildings. Salary: £38,500–£39,500 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week Contract: Permanent
Mobile Roofer Responsibilities
- Inspect roof defects, diagnose issues and recommend practical repair solutions.
- Repair and maintain flat, tiled and slated roofs.
- Complete minor associated carpentry, leadwork, metal flashing, repointing and brickwork.
- Undertake minor groundworks, including brickwork and paving.
- Support guttering repairs and other working-at-height activities.
- Respond promptly to emergency repairs and help maintain a safe, efficient service.
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota and work flexibly outside normal hours when required.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, customer service, health and safety and site compliance.
Mobile Roofer Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Roofing Occupations or an equivalent qualification.
- At least three years’ experience within the building maintenance industry.
- Proven ability to repair and maintain both flat and pitched roofs.
- Good knowledge of roofing materials, methods and building maintenance practices.
- Ability to identify defects and deliver proportionate, effective repair solutions.
- Strong understanding of health and safety, particularly when working at height.
- Full, current UK driving licence.
- A conscientious, reliable and flexible approach to mobile maintenance work.
